Easter Opportunities

The signs of spring are all around us here in the Parkland. The weather is finally warming. There is a touch of green on the once bare branches. Roadside daffodils are drawing the attention of drivers. The geese that frequent the pond behind our home have little ones following them. And Easter is just a few weeks away.

As we watch the process of new birth that spring brings, it is hard not to be flush with excitement about this season for our budding church. There is a strong undercurrent of expectation in my heart as we approach our inuagural Easter together as a baby body of believers.

We have planned a fully catered Good Friday Dinner and Communion service that all are welcome to attend. On easter morning we have partnered with our neighbor in “The Factory”, Living Water Chapel, to host a Community Sunrise Service at 7:30 a.m. We have rented Alexander’s banquet hall, which is also located inThe Factory, above our two fellowships. There will be worship, a message, a puppet show for the kids, and, directly following, there will be breakfast served. As soon as breakfast is over we will have Parkland Chapel Easter Services at our regularly scheduled Sunday morning meeting time, 9:00 a.m.

We have been blessed to watch our Lord open so many doors. Please pray that He would now bring and open many hearts to respond to the glorious message of the Gospel. Please pray for unity and protection as we venture out in faith to reach out community. Thenk you so much for your prayers and support.

God bless,

Mike
