Blessings and Baptisms

I couldn’t tell you where the last three months have gone. Between new fatherhood, ministering, and school bus driving, I have had no time to post anything except our Sunday audio messages. School has been out since June 1, and, I had been positive that I would write weekly when I was out for the summer. But frankly, it has taken my body, mind, and spirit nearly three weeks to recuperate. For the tens of anxious readers, I will try to be more faithful to update from this point on. Nevertheless, let me catch you up on what you’ve missed.
April saw over 90 people attend our first Easter service in the new building. May was highlighted by a progressive dinner that many in the body were blessed by. It also held a bittersweet event, as the Burke’s moved back to California, after two years of faithful service at Parkland Chapel. In June, we held a baptism at the home of a family in the fellowship, and, the next week, my father, and my father-in-law, came to participate in the dedication of my son to my Lord.
Please pray the Lord will continue to grow us at Parkland Chapel into laborers for the harvest. The fields are ripe. As you can see, this is beginning to take shape, but it is not the work of one or two days. I have attached some picture of the baptism for your enjoyment. As you look at these pictures it is my prayer that you will be touched by the fact that, whether you pray, support financially, or are a part of our body physically; this is fruit abounding to your spiritual account. May the Lord do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or think.

Thank You everyone!!!!
