Dry Creeks Beds and Answered Prayers

Every year when I go back to San Diego to visit, my pastor, Ray Bentley, graciously gives me a generous allotment to purchase books at the Maranatha Chapel bookstore. I spend hours there, choosing every volume carefully. This year I acquired a character study on the life of Elijah. When I returned home I realized I had two other character studies on this fiery prophet in my library. Having my interest sufficiently peaked, my daily devotions transpired into a three book, month long look into the characteristics of a very natural man that was used supernaturally by the Lord.
