River Rats

Here a a few pictures of a Meremac River float trip a few of us took earlier this month.
The water was pretty high, due to wettest spring in recent memory, but the weather was fantastic and the wildlife abundant. (I also added a picture of a few of us at Las Margaritas restaurant, enjoying Sunday afternoon lunch.)
I have know Bro Mike since he worked at the Christian Activity Center in East St. Louis and attended Jerome Lane Baptist Church. I was his deacon and have watched him grow in the Lord over the years. Bro Mike inpresses me with his total comittment to the Lord and to seeing souls saved. If this country had more committed young preaches of his caliber we would not be in the shape we are in. May God bless him, his ministry and his family. May he be used mightily of the Lord.
I pray for him often.
