“A Workday, A Waterfront Concert, A Wedding”

On Saturday, August 1st, over twenty men and boys gathered to clear the brush and trees from around the pond on the church property.
On Sunday, August 2nd, over twenty from our church caravanned up to Franklin Graham’s “Rock The River” concert and outreach, on the Gateway Arch Grounds overlooking the Mississippi River.
On Saturday, August 8th, Lance Calvert and Vanessa Combrink were united in marriage on the back field of our church property. Nearly one third of our church had a hand in the logistics of the ceremony. How neat it is when the Lord gives us love for one another and a mind to work.

Lance and I don’t even know where to begin in thanking everyone who helped at the wedding (and before). I am still astonished at all the hard work everybody did for our wedding. We are truly blessed by it and continue to be blessed by your presence in our life. What a way to be welcomed home to my new church family! Thank you Jesus for your people and for the love that you’ve given them!
