September So Soon?

This week marks three months since we left San Diego. I cannot believe that the summer is already behind us. How time has flown. It was a great and exiting season full of change and emotion. New is always exciting, but it is good to be feeling at home and to be getting back to some sense of normalcy after the move and the many visitors we were blessed with throughout the summer months.

September is proving to be a month of firsts. We held our first midweek prayer meeting last Wednesday. We recorded our first message onto CD tonight (a miracle in technology). We have our first baptism scheduled for Sunday, September 18th. This will be a very special night for me, because I get the privilege of baptizing my longtime friend, Lance Calvert.

We will be entering unchartered waters the end of the month as I get my first opportunity as an evangelist. I will be speaking for four nights in a row, at my parent’s church. A team of youth from Maranatha is flying out to do worship. Many are already fasting and praying at the church. It is a real thrill watching the Lord work. Please keep this revival in prayer.

Jared Burke arrived two Sundays ago. It has been great to have him here. He already has a couple of good job prospects lined up. Please keep praying for that.

Thank you so much for your prayers and support.

May God continue to build His church.
