“Four Facets of Friendship”

A verse by verse study 1 Samuel 20, November 17, Wednesday evening service.

  1. Hey pops,

thanks for that sermon – it was something I needed reminding of. Really good! I love the story of David and Johnathan; it’s arguably my favorite in the old testament.

    C.S.Lewis quote (slightly paraphrased;):

(From the book ‘Four Loves’ in the chapter titled – Friendship)

“To be lovable in friendship is to be content with what your friends can give you. The moment you are discontent with what you are recieving it is hard for anyone to love you. If you want to be loved, be content. There’s nothing easier to love then a satisfied person.”

Keep it up Mike, really good 🙂

    God bless!
