Parkland Chapel Ladies (PCL)

PCL  offers fellowship opportunities outside of regular church services for the women of the church, with the goal of building a strong, supportive community. There are seasonal Bible studies throughout the year and regular hangout events where women can connect, share experiences, and grow together in faith.

Join the PCL chat to stay up to date on events, studies, and all the ways we are fostering meaningful relationships within our church family.

Parkland Chapel Men

The men’s ministry here at Parkland Chapel seeks to create an environment where the men of our church can gather and fellowship outside of regular church services. We organize events such as bonfires and chili cook-offs, 4:30 AM Bible studies, and our summer Cornhole Tournament! The men's events connect men with the church, with the hope that they will attend services and ultimately come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

SMall Groups

Small Groups provide an opportunity for adults to meet and develop friendships with others who attend our church. As our church continues to grow, it’s important to create opportunities to connect with those we haven’t met yet, as well as deepen relationships with those we already know.

Groups meet for five weeks during two 'semesters' each year, and we change groups from semester to semester to help people meet new individuals.

Young Adults

Ages 18 + out of high school thru 30

The young adults ministry at Parkland Chapel offers a welcoming community for individuals navigating various life stages, including those in college, embarking on new career paths, and embracing the responsibilities of parenthood.
We host exclusive church services and casual gatherings to foster fellowship and spiritual maturity among young adults.
At Parkland Chapel, our goal is to cultivate meaningful connections within the church and among peers, ensuring that this age group feels supported, engaged, and spiritually nourished as they journey together in faith.

Youth

7th-12th Grade

The Parkland Chapel Youth meet every Sunday morning at 10:45 AM. In addition to our weekly Sunday Bible studies, we also plan events to help the kids fellowship with one another. We have multiple youth leaders who are actively involved in the lives of the youth both inside and outside of church. We are blessed with many young people at Parkland Chapel. Our goal is to help them develop a personal relationship with Christ through the study of the Word, prayer, fellowship, worship, and taking steps of faith

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered approach designed to bring biblical truth and clarity for sustainable recovery from our hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We meet every Thursday evening for snacks, worship, testimonies, gospel-oriented Bible teaching, and small groups where participants can openly share about their struggles in a safe and confidential community environment. No registration is required.

We also offer seasonal Step Studies designed to help participants dive deeper into understanding the recovery process and build community with other believers on the same journey. These studies are open by enrollment only and typically last 9-12 months. Watch for announcements to learn how to register for the next available Step Study class.

Convalescent Home Ministry

We currently serve several nursing homes in the area. Each Sunday we visit and lead Bible Study for the sweet and wonderful people who may not always have the ability to leave. We sing a few hymns, read the Word, encourage them with the hope of Jesus Christ, and are blessed by the love of these incredible friends.

For anyone who would like to spend time loving those who live in a convalescent home in our area, we hold a weekly Bible Study on Sunday afternoons.

The Parkland Chapel Meal Ministry is designed to provide for those recovering from health issues, mourning the loss of a loved one, or welcoming a new family member. If you would like to participate in this ministry you'll be alerted as each need arises and given the option of preparing a meal and choosing what day you can fulfill. This ministry is open to everyone and appreciated by all.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) shoebox gifts are a powerful way to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through OCC, we not only provide essential items like toys, school supplies, and hygiene products, but also offer the opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Each gift-filled shoebox is a tool for evangelism and discipleship, reaching children in more than 100 countries with both physical and spiritual nourishment.

OCC is a year-round ministry at Parkland Chapel, where we shop for items, craft others, plan and execute fundraisers, and organize and host packing parties. These efforts culminate in packing parties towards the end of the year, where individuals and families come together to pack  hundreds of boxes, each one a symbol of God's love for children worldwide.
Participating in OCC offers an opportunity for all ages to grow in faith, strengthen relationships, pray together, and pack shoeboxes as we share the Gospel through each and every gift. By partnering with OCC, we can be part of a global movement that impacts lives, spreads the Gospel, and brings hope to children who need it most.

Prayer ministry

Prayer is foundational to the Christian walk and to any church body. We grow and deepen our relationship with God when we communicate with Him. When we pray corporately, we also hear the hearts of our fellow believers.

Intercessory prayer sessions are held at 8:15 every Sunday morning and at 6:00 Sunday evenings. Everyone is welcome to join these prayer times
