ManUp

Man Up is the men’s ministry here at Parkland Chapel, looking to create an environment for the men at our church to gather and fellowship outside a regular church service. We organized events such as bonfire and chili, 4:30 am bible studies, and our summer Cornhole Tournament! Man Up is looking to use these events to connect men with the church in the hope of coming to service and ultimately finding Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!

SMall Groups

We meet twice a year for five week sessions. These usually follow our season of Wednesday night services  This is an opportunity for our church family to get to know each other in a smaller intimate setting.  Small groups  meet in a home or church classroom, and we discuss life and the  teaching from Sunday morning. We gather together to love and disciple each other, grow with each other and learn from people from different walks of life.

We teach the kiddos the word of God. We use Calvary Chapel curriculum and start in Genesis and go through the book of Revelation. Our goal in teaching the Word is so kids can know what God likes and what He is like. Each month we also have a memory verse that corresponds with the month's bible lessons so we can "hide God's word in our hearts so we don't sin against Him.“
We split the kiddos into age groups and have worship time, prayer time, activity time and of course time in His Word.

This ministry is open to everyone and appreciated by all.

Anyone who would love to spend time loving on those who live in a convalescent home in our area we do a weekly Bible Study after noon's on Sunday.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts are a way to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. OCC is a year-round ministry at Parkland Chapel, as we shop for items, craft others, plan and execute fundraisers, and plan and host packing parties. Participating in OCC is an opportunity for all ages to grow in our faith and in our relationships together, to pray together, and to pack together, as we share the Gospel through each and every shoebox.

Missions

Jesus commands us to make disciples of all nations. At Parkland Chapel, we support church plants, missionaries, and mission organizations locally, nationally, and globally. We send teams to Senegal, Africa to teach and build relationships with the people all with the end goal to love them as Jesus does and tell  them about the Gospel. All these efforts are to be Jesus' hands and feet to the nations.

Prayer ministry

Unit 618

Prayer is foundational to any Christian walk and to any church body. We grow and deepen our relationship with God when we talk with him. When we pray corporately, we hear the hearts of our fellow believers.
Intercessory prayer sessions are at 8:15 every Sunday morning and 7 Sunday evenings. Anyone is welcome to join these prayer times.

Ushers & Greeters

The ushers and greeter’s ministry is intended to welcome all who walk through the doors of Parkland Chapel. We greet each person, provide hospitality, and serve communion. The members on our team are the first face you'll see as you walk through the doors and we want all who come inside to feel welcome. We also answer any questions that someone new might have, show new families where to go, and help get new kids checked into children's church. Our team welcomes anyone who enjoys meeting new people, is friendly, and has a heart to serve others. We want to be the face of Jesus to all who come to Parkland Chapel.
